How we work

Typically we are engaged by the board, major investors or founders.

Usually we take a medium to long term view of businesses and get involved in implementing strategies, reducing investment risk and maximizing investment returns by forming or becoming part of the management team, thereby strengthening resources and complementing talent already present in the team. These kinds of engagements are defined through management contracts.

We like to commit to the success of our clients. Some of our management engagements have continued for several years. In some cases we will take an equity position in our client companies, either through direct investment or as part of the engagement.

We also carry out shorter projects such as preparing business plans and assisting with raising capital, providing advisory and mentoring services, and supporting investors with due diligence into potential investments.

We occasionally take directorship positions if we have a significant investment in a company, or to represent the interests of one of our client investors.
